Who is Barabbas

Take a deep look at these faces

Take a look at those eyes

His tongue

So annoying?

Who is this man?

At that time they had a notorious prisoner, called Barabbas.  Matthew 27:16

They want to set him free

Which of the two do you want me to release to you?” asked the governor.   “Barabbas,” they answered. Matthew 27:21

Barabbas was a law breaker, a killer, a robber, a thief … (Mark 15:7; Luke 23:19; John 18:40)

Where is justice?

 He is the one who deserves the cross …. Yes! the middle one

ARE YOU ANGRY!!!

Mirror, mirror on the wall

Dear  Friends

Have you looked in the mirror today?

Are you any better than Barabbas?

“Whoever hates his brother is a murderer……” 1 John 3:15

                                                Have you broken God’s Laws?

                         “for ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…. romans 3:23”

                                              Are you a notorious prisoner?

           “But the Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin ” Galations 3:22

Then you must be Barabbas!!

You are exactly the criminal for whom the cross was prepared. It was made to your measure. That was where you should be executed.

                                                 Yes!..The middle one with your name on it

For God’s JUSTICE to be satisfied you deserve death “for the wages of sin is death”

However, the message of love is that the execution took place two thousand years ago  when Jesus died on the cross to satisfy God’s Justice. Christ took your place on that cross

                                           “….yet not my will, but yours be done” Luke 22:42                          

                            Isaiah 53:10 Yet it was the LORD’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer

it cost Christ everything even his soul

After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light [of life] and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities. Isaiah 53:11

He was forsaken you are accepted

                 You are the notorious prisoner who was Justified that day at Calvary
